No one can argue the impact of economic globalization. The pace at which it is changing the world is staggering. But, is this change the "doom" of the United States? As China and India continue to exert their presence and more and more mergers of US and foreign companies propel survival, what will be the United States' role in this paradigm shift? Can we keep up and continue to be the economic powerhouse of the past?
I recently read an article from Newsweek.com that opened my thought process. It is nothing new but every once in a while you get an epiphany and realize the hard reality of things. I'm not that global in my outlook on the US' economic future as it relates to globalization therefore I must not totally be comprehensive in my thinking on my own future.
Take a gander at the article from Newsweek and let’s start the discussions
Newsweek.com. Here is an excerpt from that article that I found interesting:
Quote:

"...Americans are now more inclined to see themselves as victims of globalization—rather than as beneficiaries of it."

Really?
