Age Limitations?

It is often said that, when you have few opportunities to invest money into growing businesses, that money should be invested in yourself. Any skills that you can develop are your ticket to versatility, and with it almost total recession proofing.

Unfortunately, age can still be a barrier to finding employment, even with the skills you bring to the table. What sorts of skills are marketable for freelance or contract opportunities, in fields that don't allow age to weigh heavily in their selection processes?

I think age is becoming less and less a barrier to finding employement if you have a skillset and are good at it. Providing you have expertise in the area and can prove you're an asset there are a multitude of opportunities at any age.

I have gone back to college at the age of 47 and I see more and more people in my age group and even older "investing in theirselves".
