You know, I’ve seen so many articles on this one lately and they all say the same thing. In a nutshell, the gap between the cost of hybrids compared to their all gas counterparts is too wide to financial justify the buy. Now, one thing that some authors don't put in their articles is that there is another factor in the decision that is not financial. Do you want a more environmentally clean car? It is a valid reason to pay the extra money if you are passionate about it.

No one can argue the impact of economic globalization. The pace at which it is changing the world is staggering. But, is this change the "doom" of the United States? As China and India continue to exert their presence and more and more mergers of US and foreign companies propel survival, what will be the United States' role in this paradigm shift? Can we keep up and continue to be the economic powerhouse of the past?

I want to discuss more on the topic of Human Capital. I'll be writing a blog shortly on this topic that gives my opinion on the importance of focusing on Human Capital in your financial plan. But, for now let's stick to the basics of what it is.
Human Capital in my mind is the culmination of one's innate abilities, learned skill sets, knowledge, and contacts that enable him/her to generate and build income. Now, this idea is certainly not new but is hardly ever focused on when you visit your financial adviser. So many people are focused on market returns.
